Management Team

Stuart Noyes joined SUMR Brands as interim CEO in December, 2019; he was made CEO and a member of the board of directors in December, 2020.

He is a founder and managing partner of Winter Harbor and has more than 25 years of experience in executive and general management, operations, procurement, creditor negotiations, and finance. He has participated in several out-of-court and Chapter 11 reorganizations, divestitures, liquidations, mergers, and acquisitions of businesses. Mr. Noyes holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Maine.

Ed Schwartz joined SUMR Brands in June 2020 as chief financial officer. Mr. Schwartz previously served as SUMR’s interim CFO from March through September, 2012.

Mr. Schwartz has held a variety of senior positions over the past 35 years, most recently as a consultant at Winter Harbor, a restructuring and turnaround firm. He has also served as a chief financial officer, chief operating officer, and in other senior positions at various leading companies including CB Holdings, Lund International, DSGI, and Electrolux.

Mr. Schwartz has an MBA from the University of New Haven and a BS from the University of Hartford.
